In 2024, Wegrow proudly achieved B Corp certification, a milestone that fills us all with pride. However, the real story behind this achievement is the initiative, passion, and dedication shown by our employees. The certification was not just a leadership-driven goal—it was fueled by the commitment and proactive efforts of our team members who took ownership of the process.
The people behind the certification
Two employees, Marine Thabore and Mark Beakhouse, were instrumental in making this happen. Marine, a Senior Client Success Manager (CSM) with a master’s degree in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), was deeply passionate about sustainability and took the lead in the B Corp certification process. Working closely with Mark, our CFO, a strong advocate for CSR, they successfully navigated the complex certification process. Their efforts prove how individual action within our company can drive meaningful change.
A catalyst for positive change
The B Corp certification has been a turning point for Wegrow, reinforcing our commitment to social and environmental responsibility in every aspect of our business. The process challenged us to re-evaluate our operations, ensuring that we truly live our values beyond words.
But what makes this journey even more inspiring is the way our employees have been the true driving force behind our CSR efforts. To keep this momentum going, we’ve created a dedicated CSR group within the company. This group serves as a platform where employees can share ideas, propose new initiatives, and actively contribute to our CSR commitments. It’s open to everyone, and we strongly encourage participation—whether by suggesting ideas, leading projects, or shaping Wegrow’s future impact.
Empowering employees to lead CSR initiatives
Beyond our CSR group, we’ve also partnered with Noos, a platform that enables employee-driven donations, amplifying our CSR impact. Additionally, we’ve introduced internal challenges to encourage best practice sharing. These competitions foster collaboration, allowing both teams and individuals to showcase their contributions and inspire each other to do more.

What makes Wegrow truly special is that most of our initiatives come from our employees. Their ideas, passion, and dedication shape our CSR efforts and drive continuous progress. We actively listen, recognize, and empower them to share best practices and take ownership of the projects that matter most to them. This employee-driven approach keeps us focused on innovation, collaboration, and growth—ensuring that everyone plays a part in our shared mission.
